Muahahahaha! I am the cunning Master of Doing Half-Assed Projects and Making Them Look Interesting and Unique. Yes, for all of you internet stalkers who-hopefully-do not see me on a day to day basis, I went around at lunch asking people for hair. And not just for fun! This was for an english project!
I decided to make an attempt to finish a Jane Eyre project for my scrapbook, so I would only be one project behind. I decided that something that happened back in Victorian times was that young ladies would take hair and braid and twist and weave it into intricate patterns of flowers and wreaths. No, really! They have some examples at Herritage Park! Good Hairy Family Fun!
So anyway, I got hair from myself, Karlie, Erin, Lisa, Jon, Ben, Mike, Kathryn, Dillon-who I barely know, but was kind enough to donate to my cause-, Marina, Caitlin, and MRS SEAMAN! A teacher! I was so happy...although, admitedly, the conversation at lunch did start off rather strangely...
"Hi guys. You are all my friends, right? And as such, you want me to get good grades, right?"
"What do you want, Kat?"
"Hair. Please. Um...project with hair."
It was fun. But the people downstairs in the drama pit were not as so kind to help me. Oh well, who needs their stinky drama hair anyway?
Well...I do. It's an ugly hair collage! I mean, I obviously couldn't make flowers out of the stuff, so I just stuck it with masking tape in big clumps. Coolest Jane Eyre project evah.
