The New Year
Yeah, so this is a really good AMV...I like the song.
I'm back from Japan and was happy to sleep in my own bed, despite my messy room. I still haven't unpacked or changed my furniture in my room, but I have tomorrow off too, and today I was catching up on sleep. So much sleep.
Well, that's all I have to say. Japan stories must be saved for when I talk to my friends in person. Yayay!
Musical Quote of the Day
"So everybody put your best suit or dress on
Let's make believe that we're wealthy for just this once
Lighting firecrackers off on the front lawn
As thirty dialogues bleed into one
I wish the world was flat like the old days
Then I could travel just by folding a map
No more airplanes or speed trains or freeways
There'd be no distance that could hold us back"
-Death Cab for Cutie Title: The New Year
I like this song, and one other song by them.

okay, i am typing on a japanese keyboard and i can not quite figure out how to do some tuff, so excuse the bad spelling and grammar. your mom.
okay, so i am in japan right now. yes. now. as you read, i am sitting next to my very kawaii host sister , mao, who is holding my sticky candy apple so i can type to you people. yay mao!
it is super hot here. like, hotter than anything. ever. kevin, vancouver has nothing on this heat! also, last night there was a cockraoch the size of my cat in my room and even after spraying it a thousand times with insecticide it still mananged to twitch in a very gross way.
whatever.
last night i went and saw the most beautiful fireworks display! they were huge. huge! if i could find a way to make the capital letter work again i would use them.
okay, i have to go because my?candy apple is melting all over maos hands. and i want to eat it. kari, i miss you, dear, and got you a cool present that is definitely not a wind bell. no sirree bob, not a wind bell at all.
kevin, darling, i love you and will call you when we are stopping over in vancouver for six freaking hours. love you!
