Tornado Warning
Yesterday evening
There was a tornado warning
Mom went into
"End of the world" mode
I sat there
Feeling nothing
Annoyed
That my best friend is far away
And the friends I have here are being jerks
Well, some of them are
Tornado watch
CFCN news tracking the clouds
Don't they realize that clouds are free spirits?
Almost wanting a tornado to come
Wisking me away to OZ
On the way, I would make stops at
Neverland
Wonderland
The Land of the Midnight Sun
Middle Earth
Disneyland
Hogwarts
And then of to OZ
To play with lions and straw
And metal that ticks with a heart beat
But what if I accidentally
Scared the lion?
Burnt the straw?
Broke the metal's artificial heart?
Visit the wizard
And never figure out his secret?
What would the point be in going?
I'd just mess it up anyway
And besides
If I had left
I never would have seen
That beautiful
Vibrant
Soft
Rainbow that arched in the sky
Rainbows don't exist in OZ
Musical Quote of the Day
"It's a nice day
If you wake up in Disneyland"

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm running late.

Yuck...
Do you ever find that you go to eat something...and something about it just puts you off and makes you want to vomit? That just happened. Gah.
Anyway, I totally whored away my talent today. I was ashamed. But what can ya do? I figure, I'm never going to see those people again, so I don't really give a shit.
Saw Nugget today. Met his owner. Aww, how cayuute.
Maybe it's just the heat, but I'm crabby. Hahah...you've got crabs, ass face!
Musical Quote of the Day
"I didn't mean to scare you, little one
Is there nothing I can say?"
-Prozzak CD: Hot Show Track: 3 Title: Strange Disease
Yes, I like Prozzak. Always have, and always will. They remind me how relatively carefree I was in Junior High.

What to say about yesterday...
In short, it was a disaster. Oh, I'm not saying that I didn't have fun, but there was...something wrong. Not right. And I can tell that the same thing that happens to me every year is about to happen again. Why is it that I can't find what I'm looking for? Maybe I have a horrible detterent that drives it away, or maybe I am trying too hard to find it. I don't know. Where is it? I can't find it anywhere. Where is it?
But the rest of the day was enjoyable. I karaoked! And I was actually really good! And I won lots of cute toys. I was going to trade up my small ones, but I elected to be a good person, and I went up to this woman with a little boy, who was reaching eagerly towards a game stand, and told the woman that I had won lots of prizes, and I was wondering if her little boy would like one. She said he would love one, and I gave him a teddy bear with a cute face. Another girl, perhaps his older sister, about age 7, was looking at her brother, and I gave her a purple dolphin. They were so cute! And the parents and presumably uncles/aunts/grandparents thanked me. It felt really...warm and fuzzy. Then we happened upon a mother and father with two sweet, well behaved little girls, one holding her mothers hand and the other in a stroller. When I offered them toys, the parents were astounded. The dad kept asking "You're giving away free prizes?" and saying "Thankyou very much!" I gave the duck stuffy to the girl in the stroller, and I was going to give the other one my stuffed dog (I didn't want to give it up, but I didn't think it would be fair to give one sister a toy and not the other) but then Kari gave her a small stuffed monkey -it was cute, I tried to win one later, but I won a medium sized pug-dog instead- and the look in the parents eyes and the kids eyes was so priceless, and I knew I had made their day, and that was such a good feeling. Especially since I've been very unhappy lately, and making sweet small good little children with no toys feel happy was great! I'm such a sap for this kind of thing!

Chillin' at my Dad's, cowpokes!
Yup. Goin' to the Stampede tomorrow. Yeehaw!
Apart from that, I've been helping my dad pack all weekend, because he's moving. It's cool. And now he's swearing wildly. Haha, I love it here.
Anyway, not much else to talk about. I have plenty of money for Stampedey-Goodness, and I'm going to blow it all on games and food, in a single day.
And now, for no other reason except that I can, I'm going to list all the Care Bears and Care Bear Cousins that I can remember.
Tenderheart Bear
Share Bear (my favourite)
Grumpy Bear
Cheer Bear
Champ Bear
Trueheart Bear
Friend Bear
Good Luck Bear
Wish Bear
Funshine Bear
Bedtime Bear
Baby Hugs Bear
Baby Tugs Bear
Grams Bear
Secret Bear
Birthday Bear
Bright Heart Racoon
Swift Heart Rabbit
Brave Heart Lion
Lotsa Heart Elephant
Gentle Heart Lamb (my favourite)
Treat Heart Pig
Noble Heart Horse
Loyal Heart Dog
Proud Heart Cat
Cozy Heart Penguin
Pleasant and Polite Panda
There, that was fun. There are more, but their names escape me for the time being.

Life was easy"
