MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOODNIGHT!
Well, it's been a great day. Went for a walk, waited for my sister to get home and then opened presents. And, because I have nothing better to do, let's make a list of the stuff I got! This is mostly so I can remember myself, and where I put everything....
1. A funky shirt from my aunt, with a cartoon monkey driving a yellow VW.
2. Harmony Bear stuffed animal/clip on thingy.
3. Tootsie Roll socks.
4. Two nose studs, one of a star and the other of a smiley face.
5. Soft fleecy red pyjamas.
6. Ginourmous fleecy Hello Kitty blanket.
7. A cool little box thingy...

19. Tweety Bird socks.

27. Two Chinese good luck charms. I'll need them for exams!
28. A cell phone holder.
29. One of those things...you know...a clear crystal cube, with an image inside that looks like it's made of bubbles but really its made by a lazer..well, one of those, with a Virgo image.
30. A red Chinese style hair fastener.
31. Weird powder shampoo...smells nice though.
32. Happy face magnets.

Yeah. Well, have a very Merry Christmas, everyone!

The only one that I have ever known
Don't know where it goes
But it's only me
And I walk alone"

Hark, Hear the Bells!
Christmas Eve. Enjoying the annual fight with my mother on the evening before Christ's birthday. Joy. So I'm taking refuge down here at the spiffy computer.
The past few days have been enjoyable. I have lots of money! YAYAYAY! That's a nice change, I can tell you. So today, bright and early, we went Christmas shopping. I got Dave something, stuff for my mother-of-step...sister, mother...and I know what I'm getting my dad, but I have to go back for it. And a tiny-wee something for myself. Hehehehe! I couldn't resist! It's a keychain of Tomoyo from Card Captor Sakura, and it's not Chibi. It's like a tiny doll. But I had to Krazee Gloo part of it when I got home. By the way, always Krazee Gloo with gloves on, because it was upsetting to see a piece of my skin still stuck to the tube.
So what else? Oh! YEAH! Have you ever had that thing, where there is a song that you hear on the radio or something and you absolutely adore it, but you can't remember who it's by, how it goes, or what it's called? Well, I had that, except I knew it was Green Day. So I went to Future Shop and did their nifty little song-checker thing, and I had a hunch it was on the American Idiot CD, and it was! Turned out, the song was "Boulevard of Broken Dreams". Sooooo good!
Speaking of sooooo good, Dave not only bought me flowers-no one has ever done that for me before-but he got me a present, which was completely unneccessary, as I already have everything I want for Christmas. Anyway, he told me not to open in until Christmas Day. So I didn't. But he didn't say I couldn't poke, prod, shake, or smell it. So for the past day and a half I've been trying to guess. I didn't shake it too hard, incase it's breakable. But tomorrow we don't get to open gifts until Meagan gets home from work at 3:00. Damnation! Oh well, it's not about the presents...but I really want to know what I got!!! Teheheee!
You know what's really creepy? Going into La Senza to purchase some panties and a cute nightshirt (currently wearing...so cayuuute!) there was a guy who was...physically dirty. Like he hadn't bathed on purpose. And ripped up painty jeans. Buying neglegie, consisting of about 3 cm square of pink silk, big fluffy pink pom-poms for the bra bit, and a fluffly pink thong. I couldn't decide whether to laugh or cry. I mean, he's probably a really nice guy, buying something fancy for his wife for Christmas...but still...dirty men in ladies underwear stores is a little creepy.
I ought to go. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

Three Days Until Christmas Eve!
Uber-excitement to the max! Gah, oh no! The sun is out! Go away sun, or we won't have a white Christmas!!! Go away!
I'm done. Sorry, really tired here. Anyway, I gotta go do some homework and engage in acts of personal hygeine.
No Musical Quote of the Day until I get some new CDs!

Eyes Full of Tinsel and Fire!
I feel so...Christmasey. It's been a pleasant, lazy day. I sat cross-legged by the Christmas tree, poking around the presents, doing the usual prodding and shaking, and I caught a glimpse of myself in a shiny ornament. My eyes were so full of wonder, like they used to be when I was a kid, and I haven't had such a feeling for a few years now. And then, later, as I worked virgourously on a puzzle, I glanced out the window and enthusiastically cried "It's snowing!" Yay. Because I really want a white Christmas this year. Really.
Well, now I have to go and watch TV and contemplate doing my english homework. Hmmmm....
Musical Quote of the Day
"It's all about soul
It's all about faith and deeper devotion
It's all about soul
'Cause under the love is a stronger emotion"
-Billy Joel CD: River of Dreams Track: 3 Title: All About Soul
And, I'd just like to say that I am mad because my tablet is not working. *grumpy face*

Home Again!
Finally! I mean, I love partying and all that, but damn it's nice to be back home with my shower and my toothbrush.
So, the weekend. Off to a good start, met Dave -who nearly scared the life out of me when he just snuck up on me like that!- and went and bought Kathryn birthday cards. Then to the arcade! Hahaha...DDR hurts my feet, but I am happy because I love that game uber-much. And then we went to dinner at a really fancy restaurant. I felt kind of out of place in my Christmas Monkey Pom-pom socks, but the food was really nice, and I wanted to help pay but Dave insisted that I didn't, which makes me feel kinda bad. But then we went to Kensington and wandered for a bit, went to Cody and Marina's, which was delightfully fun. After a few hours, we ajourned to Kathryn's with Elissa. On the train there were some drunk guys, and we discussed games with them. So, upon arrival at Kathryn's, it became apparent to me that she lives practically across the street from Kari! I was considering going to say hello, but I figured she wasn't home yet. Kathryn Palooza was quite fun, with Mario Kart, and cake, and it was nice seeing some of the other grade twelves and the old art geeks I used to hang out with that I haven't seen in a year or more. So that was nice. And apart from being really cold, I had a blast. The big loud moments with the others, the quiet secret moments with Dave. They were special.
The next morning, after I woke up and heard stories of Dustin puking-I guess I slept right through it-I headed off to Elizabeth's house. Except I was late because I thought I left my purse at Kathryn's but it was in my bag the whole time. Anyway, we baked cookies and made lots of yummy desserts, and watched movies and fell asleep at about 3:00 am. My mother picked me up, we went grocery shopping, got our Christmas tree, and then I came home and slept for a while. We decorated the tree, and it is so cute. I named him Charlie, because I am unoriginal when it comes to naming the tree. It's the perfect shape, with all of our cute and shining ornaments, and all of the mysterious-well, most of them are-presents nestling under there. There are a lot, and I think they're really cool. But the best part is that I don't need a single one. I already have everything I want for Christmas. : )
