This is Kat, and this is Kat blogging.

The days are getting longer, inasmuch as I didn't get home until 7:00. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day, and I need to finish my English homework. And I have to miss art tomorrow. Bad, because I want to work on my still life so I can get it done, but good, because the new art teacher is a Pterodactyl. I mean, she seems nice enough, but if you piss her off her jaw gets so tight you can hear bones crunching and her eyes get really wide, and she looks like she is about to swoop down and gorge you. And so many things piss her off. If you are ever in the art room, and you hear a "Rrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwkkk!!!", duck.
Well, I need to go and do some English homework...but first I'm gonna so something for choral...cool.
And now, a joke!
What does an elephant use for a tampon?

A sheep.

Musical Quote of the Day

"Saw the ghost of Elvis
On Union avenue
Followed him up to the gates of Graceland
And watched him walk through
Now security did not see him
They just hovered around his tomb
There's a pretty little thing
Waiting for the King
Down in the jungle room!"

Gah! Stupid everything!

Must obtain tablet.....must....kill....everyone...with...uber-goodness......*boom*
Sorry about that, my head just exploded.

Anyway, I just came out of a sugar coma due to a cinnamon bun. Nevermind. I was going to go to Sarah's Hugh Grant-a-thon (gorgeous in an obnoxious British way) but I thought it would be best to stay home in case there was some news on my grandma. She had a flu shot and it gave her a bad reaction, and she was in the hospital. I was quite worried, because there are complications from her diabetes. In any case, she is much better know and should be home in a couple of days. That is, in England. Where they, you know, live.
So, yeah, what else can I blather on about? Um...watched Shrek 2 about eighteen billion times and still love it to uber-death. Van Helsing is better than I thought it would be. Hugh Jackman...well, let's say I want to lick him. *drool* Not that I'm superficial or anything. At all.
Oh, and by the way, keep in mind that on Monday (tomorrow) I may be dead. I forgot to bring home my script for drama, and my sewing, which is due tomorrow. I suppose that I could always haul ass in order to do it. Gah, I should have just used a glue gun....myeargle.

Musical Quote of the Day - Is actually a whole song!

"The roof is leaking and the wind is howling
Kids are crying 'cos the sheets are so cold
I woke this morning found my hands were frozen
I've tried to fix the fire, but you know the damn thing's too old

It's been six months now, since we heard from our Mary
I wonder if she ever made the coast
She and her young man, they both moved out there
But I sure hope they write, just to let us know

And me, I'm getting stronger by the minute
My wife's expecting but I hope she can wait
'Cos this winter looks like it's gonna be another bad one
But Spring'll soon be here
Oh God I hope it's not late

Ma and Pa lived here, and theirs before them
Tried their hardest to make it a home
Seems so long now since they passed over
Hope my children'll try to make it their own

The roof is leaking and the wind is howling
Kids are crying, 'cos the sheets are so cold
I woke this morning found my hands were frozen
I've tried to fix the fire, but you know the damn thing's too old

And me, I'm getting stronger by the minute
My wife's expecting, but I hope she can wait
'Cos this winter looks like it's gonna be another bad one
But Spring'll soon be here
Oh God I hope it's not late"

That song is so poignant...I couldn't pick just one bit to write down. And yes, I know I've done a Musical Quote of the Day about this particular song before. Bite me.
