Not the Greatest Week.
Let's just be honest. It has sucked. Somewhere between breaking my glasses, breaking my mp3 player, having my period, missing Kevin, missing my dad, having shoplifters experience cardiac arrest, having to work all the damn time, people fainting onstage, getting a fucking train ticket (which I am going to appeal, damn it!) and thus not being able to purchase a new iPod Nano, waiting an hour in the cold for Veronica, getting hassled by high guys at the train station, going to the sleaziest club ever, having to deal with her racist boyfriend, freaking out because I almost lost my debit card, and having to wait for Wednesday for anything good to happen, I think it's been a pretty shitacular few days.
Musical Quote of the Day
"We'll do it all
Everything
On our own
We don't need
Anything
Or anyone
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me
And just forget the world?
I don't quite know
How to say
How I feel
Those three words
Are said too much
Then not enough
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me
And just forget the world?
Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden
That's bursting into life
Let's waste time
Chasing cars
Around our heads
I need your grace
To remind me
To find my own
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me
And just forget the world?
Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden
That's bursting into life
All that I am
All that I ever was
Is here in your perfect eyes
They're all I can see
I don't know where
Confused about how as well
Just know that these things will never
Change for us at all
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me
And just forget the world?"
-Snow Patrol Title: Chasing Cars
Yep. I needed a good cry. This song is a) AMAZING because it's gorgeous and his voice is incredible and makes me think about the love that I have, and b) AWFUL because it makes me cry in that stupid-little-girl way because it's super emotional. Way to go, Snow Patrol. Way to go.
