Eeeep, I think I've had a lot of sugar today.
And I'm sorry, but I have little sympathy for the brother of the man who fell onto the train tracks on Wednesday. It was just on the news just now, about how he says they should put up guard rails on the platforms to prevent more incidents such as what happened to his brother. Now, that I can understand, but he and his brother were, as he called it "just horsing around". What? Dude, I'm sorry your brother is dead, but you don't have to be a rocket scientist to follow the Don't-Horse-Around-On-The-Platform rule, which somehow the rest of us seem to comprehend. The yellow line and all of the signs that say "Stand Clear of Yellow Line" are there for a reason. He said his brother was just leaning against the slowly moving train car, he accidentally bumped his brother, and he fell between the train cars as the train was moving. Guard rails may have prevented that from happening, you know what else would have? Not being an idiot. Maybe I sound cynincal and mean, but you all know full well I have a point.
And that's my social commentary for the day. Anyway, now I'm just waiting for the hour long special of Family Guy to come online. Woot!
Man, I can't seem to beat the Wonderland boss in Kingdom Hearts, but I want to finish the first game before I get and/or play the second one. Which pretty much makes me gleeful everytime I see the commercial because it opens up with Jack Sparrow and the theme song is...how do you say....orgasmic? Augh, to die for, I swear! *drools*
Well, I guess I'm off. Tomorrow is the field trip to Kananaskis where I'm sure my brain will be dripping out my ear due to extreme boredom. Wow. A field trip. To an actual field. If I'm lucky, I might get to see some...grass and low shrubs. Plus, it's supposed to be pissing down with rain tomorrow. Great.
