School tomorrow, and I'm really not looking froward to it...well...depending on how my day goes, I may or may not murder someone.
You know what pisses me off? Stupid shows that show up and ram themselves down little girls throats, giving them the wrong idea about how to act and think, or more like how not to think. Specifically Kim Possible, Totally Spies, Girl Stuff Boy Stuff, and Girlz TV. I saw Kim Possible today, and it made me sick. Her mom is a brain surgeon, her dad is a rocket scientist, she's a cheerleader, and a teen super hero. In this paticular episode, Kim gets detention, and everyone is freaking out. "Cheerleaders don't get detention!" Fuck that! Thats telling girls that if you are a cheerleader, you're better than everyone else. Totally Spies is an anime-wannabe show about three girls living in Hollywood in a fancy rich school and saving the world with cutsey pink gadgets AND being in a rock band. There is more to life than making sure your superhero outfit is colour coordinated! Not only is Girl Stuff Boy Stuff badly drawn, its a failed attempt to honour regular kids lives. Every episode one of the six friends messes up and it is cleared up, but in a way that says "Only dating will solve your problem." The commercial I saw for Girlz TV screamed "Hey, girls, be ditsy, like our hosts!" Basically two idiotic boy-crazy girls go to super expensive stores and tell little girls that to be anything, you have to have brand name items.
Don't even get me started on Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen!!!
