Short Hair

Well, that feels better...about ten inches hacked off the back of my head. Except pretty. Everything is pretty good...put my notice in at Claire's, but it doesn't matter much because the buses are on strike and I won't be getting there anyway. Sakura is doing fine but she is losing her puppy teeth and it's pretty damn gross...they're all slobbery and bloody when they fall out, and I never liked losing my own teeth.

Oh Criminy...

Well apart from working a lot, things are good. Glenn and Jo watched Sakura for me on the weekend but it's good to have her back. Such a cutie. Except when she poops on the floor.
In...strange...news, there are...issues with a certain person and his significant other who is not as significant as he thinks she is. And the person's parental unit is worried and we have lengthy discussions about it. Not that I mind, I don't, I just am genuinely worried about the situation. I hope the person will see the light.

Goodbye, Poe...

My dear little cat passed away this morning. We took him to the vet when he was getting sicker again, ready to put him down, but the vet said to try him with some IV fluids overnight and see how he does. I was glad he may have one last chance. But upon returning at one o' clock this afternoon to collect him, we were taken to his kennel and informed that he passed away this morning. Instant tears. But the doctor and nurse were very kind and understanding and supplied me with many tissues. As my mom asked what would happen with the body, I leaned in and kissed him and scratched his neck like he always loved and played with the little rip in his ear and told him I loved him and goodbye and I was sorry. And cried and cried. But at least he went peacefully and we're going to bury his ashes under the tree in the backyard. At least the suffering is over...he knew I loved him, I know he did. And even though I wanted to see him one last time, and be with him when he died, at least he was in good hands and the fluids probably relieved the pain before he passed. So...goodbye Poe, I love you, and wait for me in Heaven.

Decisions, Decisions...

Wow. I'm sorry, but I don't know why there are so many unemployed people, considering EVERYWHERE is hiring and I have have applied at several places and have two potential jobs. La Senza and Reitmans...I'm a little confused. But excited. I could have all the lingerie and plus-size clothing a girl could want.
Yayay.

Long On Loving Sakura Blossom

Well, I have my puppy, Sakura. I've had her for a week, and I would have blogged about my little darling sooner but I've been most busy. She's getting along with my cats well, at any rate, and my Poe is doing better. Still skinny...but eating by himself. I think Grace and her will probably end up pretty good friends. They had better, they're both coming with me when I move out (long way away, I assure you). Anyway, this may sound strange...but...she's like a tiny little angel...with four legs...and a tail...and sometimes pees on the floor. But my point is, looking at her sleeping at my feet makes me think that there is something more to her. Something special. We're going to be friends forever. No matter what, she is going to love me, and be with me all the time.

No, I'm not buying a bag to haul her around in. That's just freaky.

Well, what else is new? My Kevin has gone back to Vancouver for two and a half months. He has done so much for me, I can't really thank him enough. It's a long time until June, and it would be a lie to say I'm not sad about it. But I'll just have to tough it out, and know that it's not forever. I guess.

Anyway, Poe has been given an extension to turn it around. He has a month to start eating by himself. And today he was grooming himself which he hasn't done since he first got sick, so I'm fairly confident that he may be getting a bit better.
Well, I do apologize for my short posts, but there isn't really much to talk about.

Ugh...Whatever...

Don't have the time nor energy to deal with this. For some inexplicable reason I'm very tired. Anyway, I guess what I'm most upset about is Poe...he's put on a little weight but he still won't eat on his own, and Mom says he has just one more week to turn it around. I hope he does. I can't bare to lose him.
Also, I feel very...I dunno...pissed off, I guess. Like underneath my happy exterior lies a demon who wants to yell at people. Maybe I'm just a weird. Or being a jerk. As some people so delicately put it. As much as I hate to admit it, it may be hormones. Whatever it is, could everyone be as so kind as to put up with me. Or I'll fucking kill you.
